Hooray!! Ben graduated this last weekend from SUU! He received his Bachelors Degree in Human Nutrition and a minor in Chemistry. We moved this last weekend to Monticello to live with Ben's parents for the summer!! All of the big headaches are over until July. On July 18th we are moving to Tennessee to start Medical School!!! We are so excited to be moving on with the next phase of our lives. I am so proud of Ben for working so hard and for being so dedicated. It seemed like we would never reach this point in our lives, but it is finally here!! We will miss all of our friends in Cedar City, but we are excited to meet new friends out in Tennessee.

Week at Grandma Dettinger's

I'm sorry it's been so long since we've posted. We've been super busy. I was just up in Manti for a week and a half taking care of Matthew while my Mom worked in the temple. It was so much fun! Matthew and Kayson had a blast together for the most part. Of course they fought, but they're boys!! Grandma raked all of the leaves and then she walked away for a minute and Kayson dumped the entire garbage can over and him and Cade started kicking them everywhere!!

Cade was watching Horton Hears a Who at grandma's. They pushed off half of the couch cushions and Cade made himself pretty comfortable. He's so cute!!

Kayson didn't get a nap on this particular day, obviously. He asked me to put a movie on our laptop for him and 2 minutes later he was nodding!

The whole fam came down for Easter weekend and we were decorating Easter eggs!! It was lots of fun. The boys are undressed cause I didn't want the dye to stain their clothes. I think Matthew and Kayson broke at least 8-10 eggs between the two of them!

We also were able to go to the zoo while we were at my Mom's. It was lots of fun, except most of the big animals weren't there. We got to see the Giraffe's and the tigers, but I think they were the only big animals out that day. It was still so much fun though. Kayson loved the spiders and the snakes the best!

Califorinia Dreamin

Well we had a great spring break. We went to California to visit my grandparents. We had so much fun. We went to Sea World and the boys loved it, especially the shark aquarium shamu, and the dolphins. Kayson still hasnt stopped talking about it.

We went to lots of parks and a visited a friend of my grandpa's animal farm. He had zebras, bobcats, parrots, antelope horses and cows. It was like a free visit to the zoo.




My grandparents dont have a tub so the boys had to squeeze in this bucket. They didnt mind one bit though as you can tell.

We finally found Kayson a stick horse. He was been asking for one since Christmas. He rode around on Brego (that what he named the horse and no we dont know were he got the name from) all night yelling Yee Haa. He put this basket on his head and we asked him what he was doing and he said it was his cowboy hat! Funny kid.

Weekend with Grandma & Grandpa Boyle

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Boyle

came over to visit us. We all went down to St. George on

Valentine's Day and and played around for awhile.

Kayson of course found some water to play in and was

having the time of his life even though it was still freezing cold.

Cade had fun with everything. He was eating everything

in sight, dirt, rocks etc. But he was enjoying just

being able to be outside.

Kayson thought that this little crack was pretty

cool. He was leading the way and having a blast.

Grandma also brought some Play-Doh for the boys

to play with. Ben and Scott probably played with it

the most!! Cade just tried to eat it. Go figure!!

Happy Birthday Cade

This is Cade's cheesy face. He has alot of expressions and we always

get a kick out of his many faces. This is our favorite.

Cade turned 1 on Jan 14. I cant beleive that its already been a year since he was born. That went by fast. Cade sure has had a rough first year. He has had pnuemonia 5 times and RSV a couple of times. Despite his health issues he is a very happy kid as you can tell from his smile. He got a Lightning McQueen car and book for his B-day and went to town on his chocolate birthday cake. It was a good night for Cade. He got the two things he loves most... food and Lightning McQueen. Seriously Kayson can't get within three feet of Cade's Lightning McQueen cars without Cade screaming at the top of his lungs.

Hope you all had a good christmas. Ours was great. We spent some time up in Manti with my family. The boys must have been extra good this year because Santa left a boat load of toys for them. I think my parents and Bens had something to do with that too! Before we left we enjoyed the first of the snow storms that hit Utah. Kayson wanted to go out in the snow, so him and Ben got their gear on and when out. Ben showed Kays how to make snow balls and catch snow flakes in his mouth. Kayson thought that was pretty cool. Poor Cade wanted to go out but was just getting over a cold so only went out long enough to take a picture. Anyways we are doing great and are looking forward to the new year. Happy Holidays!
